A-grade SAKU blocks of Yellowfin Tuna for sushi and sashimi, which are common in Japan, are finally available from Kazari and are made especially for sushi and sashimi. As a result of our proprietary techniques and facilities, we are certain that you will not be able to buy Yellowfin Tuna with a more beautiful colour and flavour elsewhere. We will never accept Yellowfin tuna that has been smoked or processed with Carbon Monoxide to enhance its colour and only use the most prized cuts from the highest grade of Yellowfin Tuna to make sushi.
Kazari is the UK's only place to buy sushi online to make at home. All of our fish is super frozen fish for sushi and sashimi and is ready prepared to make sushi.
All weights are given as ± 10% and should be consumed within two days of delivery. Please note that unlike traditional fishmongers, our prices are given as ready to eat skinned fillets that typically only make up 30-50% of a fishes weight. We may also include a sashimi slice of your chosen fish to bring the fillet up to weight.
*Kazari recommend at least 120g of fish per person for a sushi meal. These 125g portions are enough for one, and 250g more than enough for two*
The meaty flavour of Yellowfin tuna is best enjoyed after the more subtle white fishes such as Turbot but before the oily powerful flavours such mackerel or Otoro. We recommend enjoying as Tataki or Nigiri.
