Kaitatuya Yakinori, Silver Grade (10 full size sheets) 海苔（シルバー）
Kaitatuya Yakinori are the roasted seaweed sheets present in almost every sushi meal. They are most commonly used to make sushi rolls. Nori is actually a mosaic of various Porphyra algae that spread thinly on mesh sheets. The silver grade Nori is thicker and higher in quality compared with the Blue grade.
Rolls should be eaten quickly after being made so that retains its exciting crispy texture. This is an easy way to identify a low quality sushi establishments where rolls may be prepared hours in advance leaving the Nori to become soft. Combine with rice and fish roe to make gunkan-maki.
If you have left over Nori after making rolls, break into small pieces and use as a garnish for other types of sushi.
